AboutElizabeth
Elizabeth Rains is the author of Demon in My Blood (Greystone Books) and The Vancouver Parents Survival Guide (Brighouse Press). She was a reporter for the Vancouver Sun, managing editor of The Capilano Review, and publisher of Pacific Rim Magazine. Her feature articles have appeared in scores of newspapers and magazines. She teaches editing at Simon Fraser University and often speaks at conferences.
She has won five writing awards and holds a master's degree in journalism from Carleton University. She freelances as an editor and writing coach.
Elizabeth lives on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, where she enjoys hiking, e-biking, and kayaking through the sparkling waters of Howe Sound.
